How to Favorite a Page in Notion
Notion has a neat favoriting feature built in that you may not even know exists if you haven’t used it before, and that’s because it doesn’t appear in your sidebar until you’ve favorited a Page.
What it does is elevate the Pages you care about most to a dedicated section at the top of your sidebar, so you don’t have to scroll through what may seem like a never-ending list to track them down, which you can add to and remove from at any time.
How to Favorite a Page in Notion
The easiest way to favorite a Page in Notion is to open it and click the Favorite (heart) icon at the top of the window. You can also right-click the Page in the sidebar, then click on Add to Favorites. This will work on Notion for Mac and Notion for Windows.
As you’d expect, the process is a little different if you’re using Notion for Android, Notion for iPad or Notion for iPhone. Here, you’ll need to open the Page then tap the three horizontal dots in the upper-right corner, followed by Add to Favorites.
Alternatively, you can open the sidebar, track down the Page you want to pin, then click the three horizontal dots next to it, and tap Add to Favorites. Once done, favorited Pages will appear in a Favorites section at the top of the sidebar.
How to Unfavorite a Page in Notion
It shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that the way you unfavorite a Page is the same way you favorite it: Click the Favorite (heart) icon again, or right-click on the Page in the Favorites section of the sidebar, then click Remove from Favorites.
The same applies to mobile. Here, you’ll want to click the three horizontal dots next to the Page in the Favorites section of the sidebar, then click Remove from Favorites, or click the three dots in the Page and tap Remove from Favorites.
Do Favorites Sync Across Devices?
Because Notion syncs across devices, when you favorite a Page on one, it will automatically be favorited on the other; and when you unfavorite it on one, it will automatically be unfavorited on the other.
