You don’t need to download Evernote to use it. The tool can be accessed through a web browser like Google Chrome — on desktop and mobile. Although we do recommend installing Evernote on your device for faster access and a more complete user experience, including offline access and editing in multiple windows.
Is Evernote Safe to Download?
Evernote is safe to download. Depending on the platform you’re accessing from, the software will be downloaded from Evernote’s server or a reputable marketplace like the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. It isn’t routed through a file-storage service like Softonic, and instead comes straight from the source (Evernote).
Is the Evernote Web Clipper Included?
If you download Evernote for Android or iOS, the Evernote Web Clipper — also known as the Evernote Chrome Extension — is included out of the box, and can be accessed from their device’s Share screen. Those installing the application on Mac or Windows however will need to install the Web Clipper separately, on a supported browser.
